Come and see how practically any biodegradable rubbish can be transformed into first class compost in the Composting Demonstration within Woodside Walled Garden. This Composting Demonstration is funded by Scottish Borders Council and is organised and run by ASK Organic. We are very grateful to Woodside Walled Garden for hosting this composting demonstration.

Visit our practical, working demonstrations using many different composting units plus:
A grass bay.
A leafmould bay
A comfrey patch and barrel
Before’ and ‘after’ demonstrations for each of the composting methods.

composting area  Woodside Walled Garden is near Harestanes Visitor Centre, on B6400, east off the A68 three miles north of Jedburgh in the Scottish Borders.

The garden is open daily to the public. The composting demonstration is active between 1st March and 31st October. ASK Organic are available to advise visitors one day per week. As the day is weather-dependant, contact us for information about our next visit to the garden.
